To Brisbane, where the Aboriginal Sovereign Embassy is hosting the West Papua Freedom Flotilla this week to bring attention to injustices of the Indonesian occupation since 1971.

The visit is part of a five thousand kilometre journey from Lake Eyre in South Australia to West Papua in partnership with our communities.

Arabunna elder and long-time rights campaigner Kevin Buzzacott is travelling with the Flotilla.

West Papuan Ronny Kareni, who now lives in Melbourne, welcomes the support, saying both our mob and his people have undergone many similar experiences in the past.
