Biggest thank you to all the fabulous crew that donated to the to our crowd funding campaign!

The Freedom Flotilla to West Papua would like to thank you for your support in creating an unprecedented event of creative resistance to the Indonesian occupation of West Papua.

This initiative by Indigenous Elders of Australia and West Papua will build global solidarity and highlight the abuses of human rights and land rights carried out under the occupations of their lands on an international stage.

The whole Free West Papua campaign in Melbourne has been re-invigorated by all the energy people have been putting in to get this Freedom Flotilla happening, making donations, organizing and playing at benefit gigs, and spreading the word about the situation of West Papuans.

With this kind of support, we believe the Freedom Flotilla can plant West Papua firmly on the map of peoples’ consciousness world-wide. The more supporters we have behind it the more we can get the word out to the international public and demonstrate that West Papua’s isolation is not a product of geography, but of artificial barriers created by the occupation against journalists and NGOs.

Again we thank you for investing your money and your belief in this historic event.

Join our list of  supporters via video message, facebook, email, or commenting here, and add your or your communities name to the growing list of supporters from politicians,  unions, campaign groups and musicians.

Thanks for all the work that you’ve done and continue doing that will make this journey possible.
